Check out this recipe from The Food Channel for their Egg Nog Rum French Toast — a perfect holiday breakfast or brunch for the adults in the family. This is wonderful with fresh fruit and can be complemented with toasted or candied nuts or even warm rum soaked sugared raisins. This recipe also can be done with 1/2 teaspoon of rum extract in place of the dark rum.

A basic French Toast recipe calls for eggs, milk, bread, butter. Diary of a Married Bachelor – Day 4

9:00 AM – Apparently the natives were outside long enough to sleep in a bit. No time for a lazy Saturday morning, however. There’s a soccer game in a little over an hour.
10:00 AM – Off to Jake’s soccer game. I wonder if the rain will hold off?
