My friend, Susan of Friday Playdate is having a bit of a stressful summer with childcare while she works.
Summer camp for her boys isn’t what she expected it to be, yet she needs them to be there in order to get her job done each day. It’s a struggle that we hear about in the media all the time, but it’s different when you or someone you know is experiencing it.
It’s hard to feel like you’re winning, sometimes.

The rest of the day — the zoo and lunch and the playing — were interspersed with a constant checking of e-mail (thank you Jesus and Steve Jobs for the iPhone).
