Welcome to Part 2 of a shopaholic’s guide to frugal living tips. I wonder if I’ll get a reward from hubby after I finish this course of frugal living? Perhaps a shop-till-you-drop day as a reward? LOL
Here are some more frugal living tips I’ve discovered:
Walking – I used to drive everywhere even if the destination is close enough for a 5-10 minute walk. Now, I walk everywhere. I take a walk around the nearest park to work instead of spending my lunch hour shopping. Walking is good for you plus it’s free!

I am not frugal. I am opposite of frugal. Living with a frugal husband has not really rubbed off on me but I am trying. If you are in the same boat as I am who wants to save more, join me as I share my attempt to go from shopaholic extraordinaire to the Mother Theresa of simple living.

Do You Buy New Cars?

I’ve always been pretty frugal. But with this economy, we’ve learned to tighten our belts even more. To that end, I loved the advice in this article about “20 Ways to Waste Your Money.” One of the first things it says in the article is to buy used when you can. This is one that really hits home with me, because my dad used to buy a new car every year. And we weren’t wealthy people.
