I don’t know about you, but I’m one of those people who aren’t really organised. This week the family is attending our church’s annual conference. While I’d like to be at everything it isn’t always possible. Everyone else wants to be there, though, so this means I have to be super organised, which I’ve already admitted goes against my grain somewhat. So, it means doing things differently this week. Things I normally put off are getting the priority. Time to wool gather and doodle and play are put aside for next week. It’s all work and serious business around here [...]
Post from: Blisstree

I don’t know about you, but I’m one of those people who aren’t really organised. This week the family is attending our church’s annual conference. While I’d like to be at everything it isn’t always possible. Everyone else wants to be there, though, so this means I have to be super organised, which I’ve already admitted goes against my grain somewhat. So, it means doing things differently this week. Things I normally put off are getting the priority. Time to wool gather and doodle and play are put aside for next week. It’s all work and serious business around here this week. Personally, I can’t wait for it to be over.

What about you? Are you one of those people who thrive on activity and organised to the eyeballs? Or do you have a more laid back approach to life in general? Spend time writing in your journal about the benefits of being organised and the benefits of being laid back. Then spend some time writing about the drawbacks of each approach to life, too.

I hope you enjoy this journal writing prompt. Please leave any comments in the section below.

For people who love to keep themselves organised a journal is a must. While I wouldn’t call myself the most organised person around, I do use my journal to get certain things in order; such as for planning what to pack when going away on a trip.

For people who love to keep themselves organised a journal is a must. While I wouldn’t call myself the most organised person around, I do use my journal to get certain things in order; such as for planning what to pack when going away on a trip. I write a list in my journal, which I check off to make sure everything was included. I can also use this list to be certain I have everything going back into my suitcase.

Those four or five subject notebooks can be really handy if you’re this kind of person. You can use one section for personal stuff, another for school or work, another for lists and another for goals accomplished. I’m sure you can think of better uses.

Writers often enjoy these kinds of notebooks. The different sections are handy to keep information and ideas for novels, short stories, poetry and articles separate. Locating that certain piece is much easier when you already have it filed in a specific section of your journal.

Whatever your project or purpose give one of these notebooks a try. It could be all you need to get yourself organised.
