Readers, I need your help.
Yes, I know that when prescribed antibiotics, one should always finish the prescription. There really shouldn&#8217;t be any leftover pills.
Ok. Fine. But sometimes there are.
Numerous medical sites including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC, say, oh yes! For the safety of your family, get rid of them! Don&#8217;t reuse! Don&#8217;t self-medicate&#8230; But they fail to say how to do that in a way that won&#8217;t pollute the water supply, water sheds, or anyone who finds them in my dumpster (because my dumpster gets some serious traffic).
