I know some people think that gift cards are “cheating”, but I actually like getting them   If you want to make your gift card presents a little more personalized, how about making a little embroidered stocking to tuck the card into?

I cut out the outline of a stocking from white glitter felt (the stiffer felt works best for this project) making sure that the gift card will fit!
I used different decorative stitches to outline the heel & toe and then fill in the stocking.  If your machine doesn’t do decorative stitches, try alternating straight & zig-zag stitches.  …read more
