Teacup Pincushions

Are you looking for an easy gift to make for your mom for Mother’s Day?
Why not transform a teacup into a pincushion?
I’ve been collecting porcelain teacups for quite a few years now, and I love them.  But you can only drink from one teacup at a time, so why not turn a teacup into a charming pincushion?
Each teacup is a slightly different size, so measurements are approximate, but on average, you’ll need a circle of fabric 10 inches across.  For the pincushion shown here, I also added an overlay of lace.  You’ll also need a needle and thread and stuffing.
