I got my complimentary Schick Quattro Titanium Trimmer in the mail yesterday and I was eager to use it this morning before I went to the driving range to knock the hell outta some golf balls. It had been a couple of days since I shaved and it had been a day or two longer since I shaved my mustache area. I took it in the shower with me and lathered up my face with Gillette Foamy shave cream. I started with the sides of my face as I usually do and I gotta say that there is just something about Schick blades that feel as if it shaves quite rough. This is why I haven’t used a Schick Quattro in awhile. It still shaved smooth even though it felt a bit more rough than I like. Knowing that it would be worse on my mustache area I used the trimmer on the end of the razor to trim down my mustache before using the razor to shave that area and it was well worth it. I think it would have hurt to try to shave my mustache without trimming it down first. The edging blade works well even though it is set back a little further than the edging blade on the Gillette Fusion. I did have to go back a second time with the edging blade to get the hairs up under my nose but it worked really well for tightening up my sideburns. I didn’t shave my chin because I like to keep a little bit of hair there.

Over all it provided a smooth shave although it felt a little rough at times. The Schick Quattro Titanium Trimmer is a good razor and the trimmer is a plus, however I don’t see myself trading it in for my Gillette Fusion. Even if I never buy more blades for it I will hold on to it for the trimmer until it gets dull. Every man’s face and shaving preferences are different, so give the Schick Quattro Titanium Trimmer a try and let us know what you think of it.
