I’m holding a giveaway/random drawing, here at Quilting and Patchwork, for the mini book by Patricia Mainardi, QUILTS The Great American Art.  This book explores the women’s role in the decorative art of quiltmaking.

More and more bloggers seem to offer giveaways/contests on their blogs and web sites.  Some of these encourage viewers to visit.  Other giveaways share with visitors the blogger’s quilted/fabric art items and/or books.  Still more are for pure fun.

Do you visit blogs and web sites for giveaways and contests?  Or do check out blogs mainly for the information and resources offered there, participating in the giveaways as an incidental bonus?

We’ve reached the end of Blogtober Fest and I’ve heard from the Quilting and Patchwork winners with their addresses.  Thank you, everyone, for participating and leaving comments.  It was very enjoyable to read your comments and to know I’d inspired many of you as well as stimulating memories.
