The Augusta National Golf Club, home of the Masters Tournament, has finally admitted women. You know, only a mere 40 years after Title IX and 112 years after the first female athlete (a golfer, incidentally) competed in the Olympics. About damn time, boys’ club, about damn time. The first women who’ll have the privilege of putting at the club are former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and South Carolina businesswoman Darla Moore. More
Earlier this week Wendi Deng Murdoch, wife of Rupert and posessor of a mean right hook, was reported to have done a private yoga session with media guru Arianna Huffington and author Kathy Freston. Huffington and Deng recently co-hosted the book party for Ms. Freston’s diet book, The Lean. That is quite the power players yoga session.
