1) Blow traditional horns or torotot.
2) Make and shake homemade maracas from used tin cans.
3) Jiggle the tambourine made from flattened bottle caps.
4) Clang improvised cymbals using pot lids or pans.
5) Knock empty coconut shells.

Now what is interesting though is that in Orlando, Florida, some churches are going to start the year with a bang by going green. Yes. This is right. as I have gone through this piece of news early today, it said that some of the churches in the area are going to ask people who attend their churches to join in an activity. This is the Green Cleaning Day and it happens on the 11th of January.

What happens during this event is that people will be able to give any of the items that they do not need at home. If there are items that can still be used, these would be given to those who need them.

But anyway, back to the news. It was actually about a synagogue in Orange County. What they did was they cooked this huge pancake and they made use of an oven that got power straight from the sun. This synagogue is the Temple of Isaiah which you can find in Newport Beach.

The cooking of the giant pancake happened during the first night of the celebration of Hanukkah. They made this potato pancake which measured at an estimated 3 feet. On this, the rabbi of the synagogue, Marc Rubenstein, said in his sermon, “We are our brother’s keeper, and we also have to take care of the Earth.”

Nice.

And today, we all celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Today, we all get to open our gifts and enjoy the time that we are spending with our family. There is nothing much more precious than spending quality time with them.

Hey, you may have to wait a year before you can reuse them but that means less garbage outside, right?

There are a lot of things that we can do to make Christmas this year green. And it doesn’t have to get in the way of all our celebrations with family and friends.

What can be recycle and what can you reuse? There are lots of materials going around during Christmas and if you really take a good look at them, you can actually see what else you can do with them.

Well, that could not be right because a football does not need power. And so this one is all about the game and that it would be going live using solar power. Now that’s a first for me.

In this piece of news, Monday Night Football would be far different from what we have been used to seeing. See, what happens is that the game would be in a stadium that would be using power that’s been collected from the sun.

Who would be playing? Well, it is going to be a battle between the 49ers of San Francisco and the Cardinals of Arizona. The game would be played in the solar powered in the University of Phoenix Stadium.

There might not be much of a difference at one look but there is sure going to be a lot in terms of the effects on the environment.

According to the plans that Obama has listed, he is going to take the road towards putting in more of the nation’s budget into research. That way, there would be more knowledge on energy. He is also looking at having electric utilities moving towards renewable power.

Lyndon Rive is the president of SolarCity, a company that is into solar power and solar power technology. On this, Rive said, “This is a gift. We could not ask for a president who’s more focused on energy independence and renewable power.”

On the other hand, there are also those who may be frowning and feeling a wee bit nervous about what is happening and what is about to happen. This is the oil industry.

Well, not much would definitely say that they had and I am included in the list of those who still have not been able to.

Well, if you are interested in attending an outdoor concert which is going to get power from the sun in full, then you should start making your way to Boise, Idaho for this is where that outdoor concert is going to happen. This concert would be using solar power a hundred percent so that means no other sources of power – just the sun.

The concert happens at the famous Idaho Botanical Garden on the 28th this month.
