Sustainability Becoming More Important

A new study released today by the Grocery Manufacturers Association and Deloitte indicates that 54 percent of Americans actively consider environmental sustainability characteristics in their buying decisions. However, while they may be considering green products, they only purchased such items on 22 percent of their shopping trips.

Additional findings include that 95 percent of consumers are open to ecologically-friendly products and that while 67 percent of those surveyed looked for green products, only 47 percent actually found them!

Recently we held a giveaway for Sweeney’s Deer Repellent, and the winner of that giveaway is…. (drum roll please)… Margaret. Margaret, like so many of you that entered, said you could really use a good product to kindly rid deer from your yard. I know times are bad right now and Christmas shopping is just around the corner so I was looking for a way to help my blog readers save some money.
If you want to really really save,  don’t buy gifts.  Or at least, keep it to a minimum.  A Christmas card would be nice though (and it’s inexpensive).
