Well, what Green Mountain Coffee Roasters has thought of is to actually go solar. And that is what they are currently planning to do. They have thought of putting in 530 units of solar panels in its facility in Waterbury, Vermont. This facility is their distribution center. And if this plan of theirs pushes through, then they will then be able to claim that they are the location of the largest number of solar panels in the area.

Come spring this year, work on the solar panel installation may begin. And when summer falls, they will then be able to make use of the whole solar contraption. Of course, changes can still happen and they may start to work on the whole lot if they get pretty much excited.

Just how huge will the wind farm be? Well, they are looking at putting in 30 units of windmills in the piece of land that they are considering. The company has already done a feasibility study and it seems like they are going to be building it in the northern part of the city where there is also a water reservoir. The land is owned by the Gulf Coast Water Authority.

They still have to create proposals and have these approved. But this is a really huge project and it may take some time to complete if they are looking at pushing this through.

Of course, they have not been blowing up the balloons to for solar power. They stitched all of them together and put on some aluminum. That has been the main ingredient so as to be able to bring in power.

This project is still a prototype though. But if this goes through, this will surely be something grand. It is going to be quite flexible and not just like the flat solar panels that we are used to seeing.

They are actually looking at putting in 5000 units of solar panels on that available piece of land. That sure will bring in a lot of power to help with their facilities. At present, engineers have been studying the whole project so as to see what would be the best way to actually use the land for solar use.

That’s really a good project if you ask me. And people will know more about solar power and what it can do. Hope this project pushes through.

And so now, the officials are quite happy with how much they are saving. Well, I sure would if I were saving much power. I’m sure you would too.

Anyhow, Tom Philp, Borrego Solar Systems’s senior energy consultant, says, “It provides insurance against rising rates and helps reduce the cost of energy.”

I say it’s a blessing. And I’m sure they think of it the same way.

However, the power is not used at all times and that is why there is even extra energy. Now the extra power is sent back to the grid and they make money for that. Nice, right?

Llani Ltd is the company behind the solar panels on these public loos. And Nick Venti is one of its bosses. On this, he says, “When we decided to refurbish the toilets we wanted to install solar panels to keep our energy costs down, and it also fits in with the ethos of developing a carbon-neutral Llanidloes.”

Oh you surely would like these solar powered toilets that are located in Powys. They come with the best facilities like hot water, lights, and hand dryers. Nice!

For Jenkins High School, the sun is now its new best friend. And all its students and faculty and staff are psyched about the newest addition to their school.
This high school just got a new solar panel which is going to be a big help for the school. It is going to help them save much on energy bills since it will be able to provide energy by converting the sun’s rays into usable power. It is also going to help the teachers teach the students about going green and alternative energy.

Mike Joyner is an executive of Georgia Power. He has been one of the main people behind the solar panel in the school and he says, “Green energy has become more relevant in the county and a lot in school systems are trying to save money. Part of what we are doing is providing solar panels in classrooms to give students hands on application, something they can learn from look at and it promotes green energy.”

Joe Wyse is the VP for admin services for the school and he says that he wants to take advantage of the fact that the area that the school is in has a lot of days when the sun shines really brightly. Of course, that is really great. And it is for free so just imagine the benefits that you will be having in the long run.

At present, they are looking at how they can put in the solar project. They are thinking of setting it up at the college’s pasture so that there can be more than enough space for the sun to shine straight at the panels. There are already a number of companies trying to grab the deal with Shasta College.
