This falls into the initial category of follow up from the Tim Hardaway fiasco. John Amaechi, another former NBA player, has signed on as spokesman for HeadBlade, a brand of razor designed especially for shaving one’s head.
What’s the connection to the Hardaway fiasco?
Amaechi went public with his homosexuality in February 2007; Hardaway’s comments were made in reaction to Amaechi’s coming out. Amaechi is the first NBA player to come out. He has a book out, Man in the Middle, in which he speaks of his time in the NBA.
