I am pretty good to begin with- I eat healthy and exercise, but we all need some reminding every once in a while. They have been with b5 for a few weeks now and really rock!

By the way, see if heart disease and MI are indexed in Marijke’s new glossary. I am totally jealous of it and so impressed. Many of hours were spent on her medical glossary and I am thinking of adding it here on this site. I think it is helpful and easy to use. Go check it out and let me know what you think. Leave her a comment with anything that you would want or suggest to be added.

Okay, drum roll…

Two new blogs to read… 5 minutes

A New glossary to check out… 10 minutes

New knowledge on eating disorders and chronic pain… priceless!

Get it? That commercial that is always on? Laugh darn it! And go check out the news sites.

I have been thinking about what type of list post to write here at A Hearty Life for a few days. We are having a theme type day here at our science and health channel today and our exact theme is “a top 5 holiday type list on your specific topic”.

Hmm… we all know the food list, the traveling list and the what not to do list when it comes to cardiac health. So I have pondered over what would be new and fresh and useful, and have come up with the ol’ goose egg several times. But when I think about the words HEART- HOLIDAYS- HEALTH-LIFE, the same image keeps popping into my head… my family!

How do I know that my heart is healthy? I take a look around and realize everything that I have and get that warm, loving, overwhelming feeling in my chest. I don’t care what the experts say, I think that our hearts FEEL love and signal our brains to feel emotion!

So here is my list… Top 5 Reasons I Know I Have A Hearty Life During The Holidays… In Pictures

What a great group of bloggers! Yee ha!

Ruth at Eating Fabulous has bought her first bottle of rice bran oil. And apparently, this type of oil is suppose to help promote cardiovascular health. I will have to check my local store, but my guess is I will have to travel to a health type grocer. It might be worth it though!

Healthbolt’s Sara blogged about the new bioabsorbable heart patch that is being used to help heal patent foramen ovale, “hole in heart”, and dissolves within 30 days. Amazing stuff right there!

Also, Kristen at Lively Women and Scott at Health and Men offer up some great hearty info. Ahh, so many blogs, so little time, haha.
