		<description><![CDATA[The verdict is in? Well, for now anyway. Drug-eluding stents are just as safe and beneficial as their &#8220;bare naked&#8221; metal counterparts. There has finally been a study that examined the effectiveness of the drug coated stents. The only problem is that the research has only followed the patients for a year post intervention.
No worries though, the researchers out of Rhode Island Hospital will continue to follow the patients for time to come.  Let&#8217;s hope that the results continue to be favorable for the little drug coated metal miracles.
