One of the tests was to blindfold the men and see if they could pick out their spouse’s kiss (on the cheek) from the other lady contestants’ kisses. We weren’t sure if we’d pass that one. So, in case we should ever find ourselves in such a predicament, I’ve told him that I will be the one that just licks his cheek. You know, like I usually do.

I think we’re most like the couple that have been together for ever (we started dating 16 years ago this Wednesday, though I’m told we’re only allowed to celebrate one anniversary now, and that’s the wedding one), but who just now got married, as they said, because they wanted/needed the health insurance. I think they should have a fighting chance seeing as how they’ve been together for over a decade. Certainly that have an edge, yeah?

I was so bummed at the couple that got voted out. They gained immunity by winning the driving challenge, but gave it away for $10,000 cash. I really thought they were safe doing that.

There aren’t too many reality shows that I get into, but I may stick with this one for a bit.

Those crazy newlyweds….

Seven just-married couples compete for a nest egg worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to kick-start their new lives together and help them realize their dreams.

The series premiere’s next Sunday, March 2nd at 10pm EST, and is slated to run for six episodes. Two of the seven couples are from Ohio, so I’ll have to start by pulling for the one closest to us, Heather & Lance Holmes from Middletown.
