We just finished watching High School Musical 2 and the reviews are mixed! My son and I prefer the original High School Musical, but the girls love High School Musical 2.

The Tivo is set to record at 8:00 tonight and the kids all got in the High School Musical mood last night watching High School Musical one.
My kids are already singing the songs from High School Musical 2 and working on the dance moves from the video of “What Time Is It.”
The picture above is from the August 14th premier at Disneyland. The casting crew could not have picked a cuter couple for the lead.

When Disney’s original movie High School Musical debuted this past winter, I don’t really think Disney had any idea of how popular the show was about to become. Apart from the normal previews on the Disney Channel, there wasn’t too much other pre-HSM hype. But, High School Musical was a SMASH hit and the marketing folks at Disney couldn’t just let all of that potential go to waste!
