Recalled Purdy Paint Scrapers

If you’re doing some home improvements or if you’ve got some tools stored away, make sure you don’t have the paint scraper recalled by Sherwin-Williams and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission today.
Purdy 2 1/2 inch 4-Edge Scrapers pose a laceration hazard. The firm has received four reports of the scraper separating from the handle, but no reported injuries.
The recalled scrapers were made in China and sold at several paint stores, including Sherwin-Williams and United Paint Stores, between February 2009 and June 2009 for around $9.
Consumers should stop using this scraper, and return it to the place of purchase or …read more
