Homemade Pizza Crust

I used the Artisan bread dough to make pizza crust for supper tonight. It turned out really well. I didn’t exactly follow the directions for pizza, but I think it turned out fine anyway.
The instructions said to preheat the cooking stone, but I just coated it with a little olive oil, then sprinkled it with corn meal. Then I worked the dough out on the pans and let it rise there for about 30 minutes. I made two pizzas and used the rest of the dough. Homemade Pizza

My family love pizza and I love making it! Of course, as the kids have gotten older they like helping out too, putting the pepperoni and mozzarella on their pizza or the sliced tomatoes, mushrooms and grilled chicken on mom and dad’s.
I use Wolfgang Puck’s dough recipe and double it, which gives me four really good-sized pizzas. I also like doing it in the food processor with the dough blade though you have to be patient and help it get the flour worked in.
