Horoscope and Your Coffee Order

Every morning, I make a pot of coffee – an 8 cup pot, which usually means I drink 3 large cups. I sweeten my coffee with less than a teaspoon of raw sugar and I lighten it with a splash of either nonfat half & half or nonfat milk. My coffee tastes like coffee. Simple.
When I go to a coffee shop, it’s a little different. I might order a mocha or a latte, but I feel foolish saying words like “venti” or “grande.” Instead I say, “I’d like a medium-sized latte with nonfat.”
I had a boyfriend who would give  an …read more

Leos Can Be Such Drama Queens

I read my Free Will AstrologyHoroscope today and this is what Rob Brezney has to say about Leos…..
Leo (July 23-August 22)
A Florida woman, upset that her local McDonald’s had run out of Chicken McNuggets, phoned the 911 emergency service line for help. In an unrelated incident, a Florida man took the same action when Burger King told him it had no lemonade to sell him. I recommend that you not indulge in similar overreactions in the coming week, Leo. The Drama Queen or Drama King archetype is threatening to possess you, and I suspect you’ll have to act forcefully …read more

Fun and Frustration Ahead For Leos

Checked my Free Will Astrology horoscope today and here is what Rob Brezsny has to say for Leos:
“The Amazing Race” is a reality TV show in which two-member teams compete for money and prizes by doing odd feats in exotic locales. One especially stupid and awesome task they performed was carrying 50-pound wheels of cheese down a slippery hill in Switzerland. Everyone started out hauling the wheels on cumbersome wooden backpacks, but hardly anyone was able to make it to the bottom without falling, breaking the backpacks, and having to manually herd the runaway cheese the rest of the way. …read more

This Week’s Love Forecast

Since it worked out SO well last time, here is my love forecast for this week from Astrology.com:
This harmonious time gives you plenty of opportunity to establish a long term relationship. Conditions now support a relationship so get ready for the plunge. It is a good time economically and materially also, so you are more stable in every area of your life.
Wow. Couldn’t be more wrong if it tried.
It goes on: Remember to include a balance of work and play into your schedule, you will need time to work and social life as well as your intimate life. …read more

What Matters To You?

All you Libras out there, I’ve got your Free Will Astrology horoscope for you.  If you aren’t a Libra, then you can take a look at what Rob Brezny has to say about your sign here.
Okay, I picked Libra this week, because my boyfriend is a Libra and I am just goofy enough to be as interested in  his horoscope as I am in my own.
Okay, here goes………
Cracked.com ran an article on “5 Things You Think Will Make You Happy (But Won’t).” Here’s a hint about what those things are: fame, wealth, beauty, genius, and power. You might want to go and …read more

Connection Is My Currency

I haven’t been following my horoscope at Free Will Astrology lately. I have felt not  myself for so long, just unorganized and winging it. I said that to my daughter today, “Honestly, I’ve been winging it for weeks and weeks.” She nodded, because she’s smart and it’s pretty hard to hide the extent of the disorder my winging-it has caused.  Happily I can say that I’m not sad anymore – I’m a different sort of distracted. It’s time to shake the cobwebs out and get my life in order again.
So, horoscope. The logical place to start any sort of get-it-together …read more

Looking to the Moon and the Stars …

I am a casual follower of astrology. What I mean by that is that I read my horoscope once a week, when the local free weekly comes out. I’m  a Leo and a fairly typical Leo, for the most part. Free Will Astrology is my favorite horoscope to follow. You can see yours here. Here’s what my latest horoscope says:
This horoscope presents three clues for you to work with. Here’s the first: I know a psychotherapist’s son who, while growing up, rarely received the benefits of his father’s psychological expertise. “The shoemaker’s child has no shoes,” my friend says. Here’s …read more

Ever Hear Of A Love Altar?

I picked up one our local weekly papers and this is what my horoscope said:
Happy Holy Daze Leo!
If I could give you one gift for the holidays, it might be a magic object to add to your love altar – something like a pomegranate resting on red velvet, or a golden heart-shaped magnet or Pablo Neruda’s book 100 Love Sonnets. What?  You don’t have a love altar? Well then please begin creating one as soon as possible, and continue building it throughout 2009. For the next 12 months, the time will be right to get smarter, wilder, and kinder in …read more

Is it in the stars?

How many of you check your horoscope or compare astrological signs before dating? Come on…raise your hands! I know you’re out there!
Hey, I did! I’ll admit it. I’ll be the first to stand up and say that it took me dating not 1 or 2 but SEVEN Gemini’s before I realized that my “Everything You Need To Know About Astrology” book was right on the money! Cancers and Gemini’s do NOT mix!
Call me silly, but Seven Times of that book being right and I became a believer!
Want to know if you and your honey are …read more
