We’ve written about pneumonia here at Blisstree, but most often we talk about seniors and their susceptibility to the illness (November 2: World Pneumonia Day). Sadly, pneumonia also claims the lives of many children around the world.
Save the Children is an organization that works to improve the health of children all over the world, including North America. Another medical show, more false info

I’ve long had issues with medical shows presenting fair and truthful information. I know the shows are meant for entertainment and I take a lot of their stuff with a grain of salt – such as their usual pathetic portrayal of nurses in the real world. But when they misrepresent health issues, that bothers me a lot.

Russian Blue Captivates House Fans

Well, it captivated me! If you’re a cat lover, and especially if you’re a Russian blue fan, you must watch the “Here Kitty” episode of House that aired on March 16. If you missed it, catch it at Hulu.com.
The wise cat didn’t just make a few token appearances. He (or she?) was a major star of the episode, but I won’t give away too much of the plot in case you need to do some catching up.
