Best Christmas Ever

I mentioned before that we were getting our teen a new cell phone with a QWERTY keyboard to replace the one my husband *ahem* misplaced. We ended up getting him the LG Rumor for two reasons. (1) It was fairly inexpensive and I’m all about inexpensive. And (2) it was the only QWERTY keyboard phone they have at U.S. Cellular that isn’t a smartphone (which has an extra monthly internet charge). He’s only 14. He definitely doesn’t need a smartphone.

What a Hug Can Do – January 8th

If you thought that hugs were no big deal, take a few minutes to read this account of two twins.
“Kyrie and Brielle Jackson were born on 17 October 1995 at the Massachusetts Memorial Hospital in Worcester, MA. Each of the twins weighed all of two pounds at birth. Though Kyrie was putting on a bit of weight in the days following her arrival, Brielle was not doing as well. She cried a great deal, leaving her gasping and blue-faced.”
