We’ve gone over a LOT of different methods for doing image transfers over the several years that I’ve been with you, and I like to recompile the list every so often.

 There are times when you want a perfect image transfer.  I know that seems almost like heresy coming from me, the queen of the imperfect (and proud of it!) transfer.  Most of the methods that I teach here result in somewhat, shall we say, unpredictable images.  And that’s the beauty of the whole image transfer process.  If you wanted it perfect, you’d just cut it out and stick it down!

I was recently sent a sample pack of several new Golden products. The first three that I’ve had a chance to play with are the new digital grounds. These products are made to enhance the quality of work done using inkjet prints onto all kinds of surfaces.
It boggles the mind what wonderful possibilities this may open up for artists who like doing image transfers or who like working with non-standard materials.
