The new curriculum, which seeks to educate children about diabetes and how they can maintain a healthy lifestyle, is expected to be incorporated into classroom lectures this fall. The program will be brought to schools “throughout New Mexico, Arizona and parts of Colorado and Utah.” The new program was tested last year by a select number of tribal schools.

But, she has her heart and resources set on adopting this time from India. According to the Sun, she could fly out to “choose a baby” after she finished promoting her new album.

According to the USCIS, non-residents may not legally adopt Indian children and the law only allows for Hindus, Sikhs, Jains & Buddhists to adopt. However, foreginers may petition an Indian District Court for legal custody of a child and to take a child abroad.

From what I have seen, most adoption agencies as well as the Indian government will still only allow Indian families (at least one Indian parent) adopt Indian children. So, it will be interesting to see if Madonna is able to pursue with an adoption from this country because it is “easier”.
