Kickin’ Ana’s Scrawny Butt ~ Day One

I was serious about declaring independence from Ana.
Starting yesterday, July 4th, I began keeping track of the good things I was doing for my body, mind and spirit… as well as the not-so-good things.
Here’s the lowdown:
GOOD STUFF I DID ON 7/4/2008:
Spent an hour indoor rock climbing. Heaven.
Ate what I wanted, when I wanted, but not to excess. (Baked potato chips are a godsend.)
Tried to keep a positive attitude throughout the day; didn’t allow myself to “sink” into mental quicksand which I sometimes do on holidays.

What makes you feel really, really sexy?

I must admit that I rarely feel sexy.
Most days, I feel like this cat.
However, there are a few things that make me feel very sexy despite the fact that it ticks Ana off:
- Acting and Public Speaking – give me an audience and I totally forget my lumpy thighs and dimpled derriere!
- Running, Indoor Rock Climbing, Swimming and Weight Lifting – Strength and endurance are truly beautiful!
That’s about it for me…
