There’s a rumor floating around the internet that 17-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant…again. Her newborn, Maddie Briann, is just three months old. This rumor originated from the National Enquirer so I think we need to wait for a more reputable publication before we start calling this rumor a fact.
However, I wanted to bring this up because the article states Jamie Lynn didn’t realize she needed to use protection since she is breastfeeding. In light of the news of Jamie Lynn Spears teen pregnancy, there is now talk of Nickelodeon canceling the 4th season of the very popular Zoey101 series or incorporating a lesson about teen pregnancy in to an upcoming episode.
While the whole topic is rather uncomfortable for most parents to discuss with their kids, the fact of the matter is, we need to be talking! If Nickelodeon cancels the series, what message are they sending to kids and their parents?
So, I’d like your input. What should Nickelodeon do? Cancel it or no?
