Recently, I attended a launch event for a hot new book, aptly titled, How to Love Like a Hot Chick – as I aspire to be one, I was intrigued!
By Jodi Lipper and Cerina Vincent, the book defines a “Hot Chick” as a confident, passionate, honest woman…well, that’s me. Maybe I already am one!

Veggie Chic interview with the authors of …Hot Chick
A couple months ago, I gave the authors of the new book How to Eat Like a Hot Chick a little bit of a hard time for the way they talk to vegetarians in the book. So it’s only fair that I give them a little chance to defend and explain themselves. Um… do you guys know any ‘vegetarians’ like this?
Here’s a little excerpt from the upcoming book How to Eat Like a Hot Chick (emphasis mine):
…we have a giant pet peeve about girls who call themselves “vegetarians,” but really eat a bunch of meaty bullshit and talk a bunch of bullshit. Now pay attention: a vegetarian is a person who does not eat meat. Period. This might seem really obvious, but we actually know many girls who call themselves vegetarians but will eat steak at a BBQ and say shit like, “Cook mine really well-done, ’cause I’m a vegetarian.”
