He tagged me because this blog was on Priscilla Palmer’s list of blogs I mentioned in the entry Personal Development Resource.

Yesterday’s entry was tagged with a challenge by John W. McKenna. He tagged me because this blog was on Priscilla Palmer’s list of blogs I mentioned in the entry Personal Development Resource. I had to look at his entry, and the Change This Manifesto he plans to write. Reading the comments helped, as I wasn’t really sure what the question was. But, I think I will take up his challenge, and I suggest you do, too. It will make a great journal writing prompt.

In your journal write the word leadership down and then define it. I don’t mean look up the definition. I mean write what leadership means to you. At some point write the question from John’s blog, “Does most leadership suck?” It might be best to break down the question to discover what it is you think about leadership. Once you’ve investigated your ideas on that question add the why part of the question. Don’t forget the last part that addresses your own leadership.

I feel working with this journal writing prompt will help you learn a lot about yourself and how you view leaders. It may even point out for you the reasons you are good at leadership, or not so good. I’ll post my response once I’ve written it. Feel free to share a link to your blog here or with John if you use this journal writing prompt.
