I was really surprised to learn that Zura of Creative Clown forwarded this Arte y Pico Award onto me. Yet, it pleases me no end to think she finds my blog inspiring. My main hope with this blog is to get people writing/creating journals they will use and benefit from, so I accept the award if it gets anyone doing those things. While researching more about visual journals I came across an excellent workshop you might want to join. Journal Girl, otherwise known as Samantha Kira Harding, is offering an eight week course where the participants will strive to answer the question – “Who are we as journal artists?” The course is titled Artistic Alchemy Summer 2008 Workshop and looks to be a lot of fun with similar minded people.
