I just found this great website for those interested in writing their memoirs. It’s called The Remembering Site. Sarah McCue tells How it all Started and answers Frequently Asked Questions on the website.

You can read What People are Saying, Featured Biographies or sign up for their Newsletter. There are also Questions, or prompts, to help get you writing and remembering, which I think is an excellent place to start. For more you’ll need to Join, which will cost you $25 as one time payment.

For the last several months I’ve been searching and searching for this website since I lost the link. At last, tonight, I found it. Charlene Geiss has a useful resource for journal writers with her The Diarists’ Workshop website. The links page needs updating, but there’s still plenty to keep you busy. Make sure you look at the suppliers links, and check out her book, Inner Outings: The Diarist’s Deck of 33 Cards and Book of Exploration, too.

Aisling d’art shares some resources with journal writers everywhere on her website. There are some great articles about keeping a journal. The best there in my view are the free ebooks on Journaling Your Past, and Family History Shrines; the link to old journals and diaries online; and her instructions on How to Collage in Your Personal Art Journal. Be sure to read right to the end of that last article. There are a couple of extras to download there. I hope you enjoy.

Here are more great articles on journal writing for you to enjoy. Christian Mommies website has a Journalling section stocked with some fine articles on the topic. Make sure you check out their archives for all they’ve published on journal writing. In particular Spiritual Journaling by Catherine Franz, and Journaling: A Tool for the Spirit by Susie Michelle are some excellent articles available.

Another great online resource you should keep your eye on is at Redcastle.com. I’ve downloaded useful templates and other free software to use in my journal, mostly for my visual journals, but it’s still a useful place to know about. Keep your eye on their website, too. You might like to make a purchase. They do update the downloads fairly often and change what’s on offer. There might be something you’ll want to use in your journal.

Intrinsic have an excellent range of stationary, including journals. Many feature quotes by Adele Basheer on the covers, which are gorgeous. The coloured pages make sitting down and spending time writing in your journal an enjoyable experience. Some of the journals even come with silver or gold gel ink pens. I have owned several of the smaller journals. I love writing on those deep purple or fuchsia pages with silver gel ink.

On their website you can send ecards, read Adele’s online journal, be inspired to live a better life and if you’re a member you can also download computer wallpaper and other scrap booking goodies. Their product range is truly staggering. I had no idea how many products they had on offer until I really checked them out tonight. The intuition cards are great journal prompts. A friend gave me some and I swiftly glued them into my journal and wrote journal entries on them.

If you’d like to know more about the Intrinsic team read about the company’s history, philosophy and vision on their website, too. The Intrinsic website is definitely worth a visit. Even if you can’t buy one of their journals or other products you’ll come away feeling inspired.
