I know I have been beaten to the punch by Notebookism, but they’re right; the US election is history in the making.
Do it now. Don’t wait. Spend a moment writing in your journal about the news today. Clip something out of the newspaper or print something out on your computer and glue it into your journal but don’t forget to add your own thoughts about this today. Don’t forget to describe everything, including your own emotions, in detail.

Unless a moment has a particular impact on me it may remain unnoted in my journal. I couldn’t ignore this one, though. As I was driving home from some shopping just now I heard on the radio about the Bon Scott statue to be unveiled at the Claremont Showgrounds next month. Just check out the play list for the artists appearing at this event. The event happens 24th February this year. Even though I won’t be going I’ll be noting this event in my personal journal. I’ll probably even look for newspaper coverage to paste in there, too.
