Today I read an article encouraging parents & teachers to help kids keep a nature journal. There are some excellent ideas in the article, with drawing and observation the most important. I liked the idea of keeping a photographic record of their observations. Kids are keen to use technology. You may as well go with that and still get them learning about their environment while they’re taking down relevant details.
