Galvus- A New Oral Medication For Type 2 Diabetics Is Receiving Warm Reviews

A new oral medicine that is indicated for type 2 diabetics has gained positive reviews. Galvis is to be used in conjunction with the most common diabetic medications.
Novartis has received a positive opinion recommending European Union approval of Galvus® (vildagliptin) as a new once-daily oral medication for type 2 diabetes, a disease affecting an estimated 28 million patients in Europe
This approval came the same day that the CHMP recommended approval for two other Novartis medicines, Aclasta® (zoledronic acid 5 mg) for postmenopausal osteoporosis and Exelon® (rivastigmine transdermal patch) for Alzheimer’s disease. It was a good day for the …read more

Opinions On deCode T2 Test and DNA Direct

So, Hsien over at Eye on DNA has posted the interview that I did with her about the deCode T2 test that DNA Direct facilitated. I don’t know if you remember me mentioning it before but this is the test that confirms whether you carry the gene sequence that puts you at an increased risk to develop diabetes.
