New Poll — What’s Your Favorite Type of Junk Creation?

The new poll is up in the sidebar. You know what to do.
I want to find out about your favorite type of junk creation.
Is it a clothing creation like the bra purse (but not necessarily using underwear), a metal creation like Nuts the Junkyard Dog, a simple reuse project like the tea tag bookmarks or the cat toy from a ketchup bottle, or it is a project you can more easily add your own personal stamp to (like the decoupage vacation mementos sour cream container into a flowerpot I’m working on for next week). But maybe it’s just that you prefer to buy homemade junk creations?
Let me know and we’ll discuss next month.

Hello From Your New Junk Blogger

First off, junk can be beautiful! You’ll see.
I’m very happy to be here as the new Junk Creation blogger. Over the next few days, I’ll be adding a different twist on Junk Creation. I think it’s called nesting.
Here’s what to expect (but not all at once since I have to breathe):
J • Retail junk creations for you, your home and your yard or balcony
J • Junk toys for children, pets and wildlife
J • Junk book reviews. There’s an awesome scarecrow book I want to tell you about soon. Yard people aren’t just for autumn anymore.
J • Reuse that Junk! The only thing that belongs in the trash is used cat litter. Some people like the natural litter for mulch though.
J • Junk artists. Now, these people really know how to reveal the inner beauty of junk.
J • Junk projects. We’ll look a some doable, usable junk projects from around the web and also some from my head. Forgive me though, my table saw is in storage. (Seriously, it is since I live in an apartment right now.)
As Gayla mentioned, you can also find me co-blogging with Jennifer Chait over at Tree Hugging Family. So, of course, I’m going to be as green as I can here at Junk Creation. What we don’t use for junk creation, we’ll recycle. Deal?
Oh, and that thing on the ladder is Choco, my kitty. I took that photo when we were fixing up our 1950s house that we later sold. The other part of that “we” is husband Michael. Yeah, that table saw was only used by Michael. I admit it.
And where are my manners? Please leave a comment to introduce yourself. I’d love to hear from all the regulars.
