I just saw this article that says a bit of grumpiness can go a long way toward making a person happy. Did I lose you there? Being grumpy can actually make you more positive in the long run.

I’ll admit that when it comes to seeing my neighbors I usually give a friendly wave and then head on my way. I never really spend the time to chat. But a new article on MSN says that chatting up a neighbor can actually help boost your happiness factor. The key is to find a happy neighbor, and not a crabby one. Or someone that does nothing but complain. (You know those people.)

I’m always interested in the stories that tell us how to be happy. For some reason, it actually makes me feel good to see when I’m “following” the advice. I think happiness is available for all of us, regardless of our level of wealth or social background. Everyone has a different idea about happiness.
