In Humboldt, we lived on the beach, in a tiny house with no heat – just a woodstove. Cold often and tiny meant no one ever came over. We always had to meet people at the park or farmers market. That was sort of a bummer. The plus side was we also rarely had to tidy up – and that included our recycling.
