This morning I woke up and remembered my dream, it was so real that I went right out to get the supplies. Oh wait, ya’ll want to know what the dream was about I’m sure. We were making pudding pops and popsicles. Kind of strange?

Dye Your Hair with Kool Aid

Ash had left a comment asking how to dye hair with Kool Aid. It can be done but you better want to make sure that you want it done. You may end up with Great Bluedini (do they still make that?) color for a very long time.

Kool aide is a great dye. I have used it to die fiber from my sheep before I spun it, I have used it to dye the kids hair, and I have used it to dye fabric. It smells wonderful, you don’t have to worry about the kids getting some on their skin or in their mouths, and you don’t have to worry about VOCs out gassing for centuries. And it is serious fun.
