The worlds “ovarian cancer” can be frightening. Unfortunately, it’s often one of those cancers that is usually detected only when it has progressed so far that the prognosis is less than one would hope for.
Sure, we read of the signs and symptoms, but they’re so vague that they can be easily brushed off as something else. After all, what woman hasn’t experienced indigestion, bloating, changes in menstrual periods, and even pelvic pain?

Mirapexin/Sifrol can reduce leg pain from restless legs syndrome

It may seem like nothing to worry about, restless legs syndrome, but for those people who do have RLS, it can be very uncomfortable, and can cause chronic pain. RLS can interrupt your sleep and cause pain. A new study that examined the effect of pramipexole (Mirapexin/Sifrol) has found that the medication can significantly reduce pain from RLS in some patients. The findings were presented at the conference SLEEP, the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies being held this week in Baltimore, MD:

Hybrid procedure the answer to chronic back pain?

People who experience chronic pain most often want to avoid using any type of medication to manage it or eliminate it completely. Also, for some injuries, medication isn’t effective.
For some back injuries, the chronic pain may be lasting for a while before surgery is proposed, because surgery is a last-ditch effort to control the pain. This means, by the time your doctor has suggested and arranged the surgery, you may have undergone months (or years) of different “conventional” treatments before the surgery actually happens.
