Strawberry Lemonade Recipe

Mix together the sweetness of red strawberries and the sharpness of lemonade and you’ve got yourself a refreshing drink, perfect for a warm day! It not only quenches your thirst, it looks really pretty too!
Ingredients:
2 cups freshly-squeezed lemon juice
1 cup of chopped fresh strawberries
1/2 cup of sugar
3 cups of water
Crushed Ice
Procedure:
Squeeze lemon juice into pitcher. In a blender, place strawberries and 1 cup water. Blend for a few seconds. You may want to sieve the strawberry puree into a bowl, but you can also do without the straining. Stir in the strawberry puree, water into the lemon juice. Add sugar …read more
Lemonade Stands Are Still Around

Over the weekend I went looking around at garage sales, this is not something I normally do but it was a ton of fun. First, we found a few fun items such as 60’s music (my favorite), video games (kids favorite), t-ball stand (Little A will love) and a few other odds and ends. But the thing that surprised me the most was at the corner of a street, there were these two little girls with a stand in front and a sign that read:

Yes…It’s Hot Enough For Me!
If one more person whines to me about how hot it is here in the northeast of the U.S., I’m going to bop them. I know it’s hot and so does my dog…he’s the biggest mope of all. Whining just makes it worse.
Before you know it, we’ll all be shivering and complaining about snow and frigid temperatures. So, why not try to enjoy summer while it’s here? Watermelon? Nothing is better. Italian ice? Grape, please. And the mother of all things sacred in summer? AIR CONDITIONING.
