Recycled CD Letter Holder

Do you have a lot of old, unusable CDs in you house? I do. I don’t like to throw anything away so I thought I would do a little bit of research and find a way to use those old compact discs. Here is one of the crafts I found that was relatively easy to do and cost next to nothing to make.
Here is what you will need to get started:

Styrofoam Heart 6 x 1 inch
Floral quilting fabric
A serrated knife
Paraffin or a candle stub
Wide, flat paintbrush
Ruler
Paper towels
Low temp glue gun and glue sticks
White, thick craft glue

The Lost Art of Letter Writing

 When a friend received a hand written letter from me, she quickly responded by e-mail…“Mary, I didn’t know people sent letters by postal mail anymore!” She was so pleased to receive something in the mail besides bills and junk mail, she said.
 I still try to send postcards with hand written notes as bits of inspiration. As the cost of postage gets higher, my communications more frequently result in postcards, but I still like to send and receive these. I recall the pleasure, too, when I found letters and cards my grandmother had saved, some dating back nearly 150 years ago.

Going back to Gayla’s post on the website that will help you generate a break up letter, I went ahead and tried it out myself. Gayla did say that it’s easy cuz all I had to do was tick the boxes, right? Hehe
