Women Who Box…What’s The Attraction?
Earlier this past summer I’d written about my desire to create a Life List.
During the festivities at this Chinese Wedding I attended, it had become apparent that my list is in shabby shape — when a friend announced that she is now taking boxing lessons!
Here was this tiny, petite Japanese woman, so quiet, refined and serene, who lives in a $million dollar flat on the upper east side of NYC — telling me she goes to a downtown gym 3 times a week.

Are You A Hard Worker?
This is what my backyard currently looks like:
And this is what the inside of my house currently looks like:
Eventually, we hope to have a very nice patio…but in the meantime, it’s jackhammering, and sawing and dust from morning, non-stop until dinner time.
My complaints aside, what is interesting about this are the men who put in more than 12 hours a day, working on this project.

How To Go Green and Be Fabulous.
At a certain point in your road less traveled, the concept of a life list really starts to become not only a weightier proposition, but a neccessary one.
I have been thinking about this a lot, and while bungee-jumping is not on my list, here are a few things that are:
Get outside my comfort zone — as in, new friends, a more ambitious business sensibility — in other words life beyond my neighborhood.
Continue to educate myself — that could mean a new language, a course on (yipes) how to properly use Excel or maybe some cooking classes.

NBC-TV is running promotional spots for the new season of The Ellen DeGenerous Show. Ellen’s bit this time around is “The Life List” and she’s asked viewers to submit their list of things they want to do or have happen with their lives.
