<p>What&#8217;s a parent to do? I don&#8217;t know, I don&#8217;t have personal experience with it. As a matter of fact, I have a teen who needs to stay home more rather than leave.  </p>

Though the book isn&#8217;t required to enjoy, and, participate in the series, it comes highly recommended. 
The first lesson, From Happy to Happier helps you explore what makes you happy, and, I&#8217;m glad to see they included something I constantly need reminding of, that &#8220;happiness is not a place or a destination, it&#8217;s a continuum&#8221;.
