Lindsay Lohan’s Hit And Run Proves She’s Not As Mentally Stable As She Claimed

Lindsay Lohan's Hit And Run Proves She's Not As Mentally Stable As She Claimed

Just two weeks ago Lindsay Lohan told Matt Lauer that she was clean and sober and heading in the right direction. She said partying wasn’t her thing anymore and she had given up on the nightlife that got her in so much trouble to begin with. Sounded good at the time, but then last night the struggling actress turned Playboy model struck someone with her car after leaving a club and is now being accused of a possible hit and run. More »

Plastic Surgery Or Not, Let’s Leave Lindsay’s Looks Alone

Plastic Surgery Or Not, Let's Leave Lindsay's Looks Alone

When did Lindsay Lohan go from ‘it girl’ to (insert-insult here)? I’ve seen some variation of that question popping up all over the Internet recently, in response to Lohan’s SNL-hosting gig and Matt Lauer interview—and I think it should stop. No matter you think of plastic surgery in general or Lohan’s sober, bleached-blond and pouffy-lipped reincarnation in pop culture, it doesn’t make it right to totally bash and snark at the way Lohan looks now. Lindsay Lohan’s ‘SNL’ Promo: A Good Case Against Plastic Surgery

Lindsay Lohan's 'SNL' Promo: A Good Case Against Plastic Surgery

Lindsay Lohan‘s ‘SNL’ promo came out earlier this week, and she talked to Matt Lauer about it—and her recovery—on the Today Show yesterday. But all I can think is: This is why no one should get plastic surgery. Lohan’s had work done on her teeth, lips, and breasts before, but now it appears that she’s ticked ‘facial fillers’ off the cosmetic surgery bucket list. Friends and coworkers all have varying reactions to the results, but the resounding sentiment is that she just looked so much better before she got anything done. More »

Lindsay Lohan Tells Matt Lauer She’s ‘Clean And Sober’; We’re Still Worried About Her Mental Health

Lindsay Lohan Tells Matt Lauer She's 'Clean And Sober'; We're Still Worried About Her Mental Health

Lindsay Lohan is on the comeback campaign trail. On a two-part interview this week on the Today Show, the 25-year-old who has spent the last few years digging herself out of alcohol abuse, drug use, a DUI, shoplifting, probation and jail time now says all of that’s changed. Lohan wants the world to know that she’s “clean and sober” and moving in the right direction. Wait, wasn’t she the one who just posed for Playboy three months ago? Was that moving in the right direction?

Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy Spread Creepily Perpetrates The Marilyn Myth

Lindsay Lohan's Playboy Spread Creepily Perpetrates The Marilyn Myth

Lindsay Lohan‘s Playboy shoot just leaked, and it’s…creepily similar to the iconic shoots of Marilyn Monroe that ran in the magazine’s first issue. This isn’t the first time Lindsay’s posed like Marilyn (back in 2008, she imitated “The Last Sitting” photo shoot for New York Magazine, pouting in platinum locks and nothing but bedsheets). But this shoot is so literal, it’s hard not to see all the other parallels between Lohan and Marilyn. In the spread, she even bears an eerie resemblance to Anna Nicole Smith, who also suffered from mental and drug problems before her untimely death. Looking at the new images, it’s hard to ignore the eerie (and detrimental) drug connection between the three women. More »

Hey Hef: Lindsay Lohan’s Playbook Photos Aren’t ‘Classy.’ They’re Demeaning

Hey Hef: Lindsay Lohan's Playbook Photos Aren't 'Classy.' They're Demeaning

We can’t really remember why Lindsay Lohan was ever famous in the first place, but now the former actress who can’t seem to stay out of the public eye for all the wrong reasons has gotten herself some new headlines, with a leaked cover of her new Playboy spread. Hugh Hefner himself called them “classy,” but if the cover is any indication, the photos will be anything but. Keep your clothes on Lindsay. More »

Kombucha: WTF? (What the Fuss)

Kombucha: WTF? (What the Fuss)

Kombucha has been around for at least two centuries, but it’s really within the last ten years that it’s started popping up in grocery stores, health food shops, and occasional restaurant menu. In recent years, it’s become more than just a passing health fad; Hollywood celebs like Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom, Meg Ryan, Halle Berry, and Madonna have brought the drink into mainstream. (We know; some of those endorsements are better than others.)

To see what all the fuss is about, we took a few popular store-bought brands for a drive with four blind taste-testers: Two were Kombucha fans; two had never sipped the stuff. We can’t tell you whether or not these bottles will give you Madonna’s abs (although we’re pretty certain they won’t land you LiLo’s time in jail), but here’s what we have to say about how they taste: More »

Ageism In Fashion: Why Can’t Society Leave Women’s Hairstyles Alone?

Ageism In Fashion: Why Can't Society Leave Women's Hairstyles Alone?

If only Jennifer Aniston would develop a case of sticky fingers, or whatever it is LiLo currently suffers from, maybe she’d get some press coverage for something other than just her hair. But until she stops being a fairly stable and physically fit actress who ends up in rehab or jail, the world is stuck obsessing over her latest ‘do.

In January, Aniston called “The Rachel,” her signature Friends hairstyle “the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen” (no arguments here), instantly making my already-regrettable mid-’90s attempted recreation all the more embarrassing in retrospect. More »
