As soon as we resolve to follow a specific agenda or schedule when caring for our family member with Alzheimer’s, everything changes! Thus, many of our New Year’s resolutions don’t remain static.

Follow the Travels of Alzheimer’s Notes Blogger Liz Lewis

Liz has been traveling this month, flying first from her home in New Zealand to Spain.  From there she’ll go to New York City.  I think you’ll enjoy following her travels as she shares her experiences in photos and words at her blog, My Year of Getting Published.
We’ve been very fortunate, too, that Liz organized numerous informative blog posts before she left on her trip so we still have her with us on the blog throughout the month.

Alzheimer’s Notes Bloggers Interviewed

In case you’ve ever wanted to know more about the bloggers who write Alzheimer’s Notes, you can stop by  Yvonne Russell’s blog.  Recently she interviewed me for the article,  The Web – Your Partner in Promotion, at Grow Your Writing Business. Yvonne also interviewed Liz in March and April, about the time Liz began writing at Alzheimer’s Notes.  Actually this was a four-part interview series and is an enjoyable read that gives you insight into Liz’s world.
Incidentally, …read more

Alzheimer’s Notes Liz Lewis Mentioned at Idealog

Liz Lewis, co-author here at Alzheimer’s Notes, was mentioned this week on Idealog as a blogger and writer who is making great strides in her career.  It’s great having Liz on board to present her views and experiences on Alzheimer’s disease.
She’s an RN in New Zealand, so also adds an international flavor to our blog.  You have both of us…one with a medical background and the other with personal caregiving experiences…to give you information, resources, encouragement, and hope as you care for those with Alzheimer’s.

Alzheimer’s Notes Co-Author Interviewed

Liz Lewis, one of the co-authors here at Alzheimer’s Notes, also is a rapidly rising star in the blog writing world.  She was interviewed by Yvonne Russell at Grow Your Writing Business.
Although most readers of Alzheimer’s Notes may not be writers, they may be interested in learning more about Liz, who recently joined this blog bringing her knowledge of Alzheimer’s from the nursing field.
Liz also received mention at b5media’s Home Biz Notes where her tips may help aspiring freelancers who want to make a career of writing for print and online publications.
