Having a piece of art or a treasured quilt stolen can be devastating – I’ve have two pieces stolen in the past few years.   In both cases, the artwork was on display in shops, who weren’t responsible for theft (as is very common in consignment situations).  It’s so frustrating to lost work that you’ve created!
