I Kissed Dating Goodbye by Joshua Harris
I read this book around 6 years ago. It was heavily popularised by the True Love Waits movement in the Christian community at that time.
I’m not aware if such movement still exists now but I am hoping it still does.
The book helped in establishing and reinforcing several principles in how I view relationships. It gave me a positive outlook on how I should conduct my “lovelife”.
The basically tells the author’s story on how he struggled with the concept of dating, which was prevalent in the American society.

This is my grandpa and grandma.
When I was very small I spent a great deal of time with them due to my older brother being so ill.
There were so many nights that I’d have my grandma brush my hair and tell me about the time when she and grandpa met.
