I don’t even have any handbags, but if I did, I’d have to contact Tara Murray and beg for one of these Take Note – handbag storage and display units.

This awesome handbag storage is made of oiled walnut plane & reused architectural plotter paper tubes. You can hang your bags on it, and store items in the little tubes. This is brilliance mixed with simplicity at work. I just love it. I wonder if Cedar and I could make something like this? Hmmm, summer project anyone?

Visit Tara’s website to see other amazing projects.

Today in the realm of organizing products and storage solutions you can’t likely afford, but are fun to see, I’ve got three fresh finds from Generate.
I hate the color red, but I love the idea of Spinny. I can think of many nice uses for something like this. Can’t you? It also comes in black, white, and aluminum. I’d probably get aluminum.

See-Saw Bookshelf: Your littles will love you forever, and maybe read more, if they don’t get too dizzy first.

Quad: To tell the truth, Quad is making me a little dizzy.

If you happen to have some extra pocket change, like $17,300 in pocket change, you too can have an organized bathroom / library.
The Biblio bathtub by Antonio Lupi stores books all nice and tidy for you as you get sparkling clean.

Honestly, what can I say. Really shelves of books so do not belong in the bathroom. Last I checked when water vs. paper, water wins, and not nicely. Also, of course, there’s that pesky issue of trying to decide whether to buy a car or a bathtub. Hmmm, car-bathtub-car-bathtub-??? Always a tough decision for me; how about you?

So, when it comes to office, playroom, and family room organizing you can always try to stay on top of it. Or, you could remove the problem completely. For example, I try to keep my office tidy, I really do. However, my office is also the room we use for art projects. The art table and my desk are separate, but still the mess seems to pile up. If I could just move my entire office out to a Qube, I bet it would solve all my problems.

Check out the Qube:

It’s a room removed! Take the office out to your garden. Nice. I just know that this would inspire me to keep things tidy and up to date organized all the time.

For less than you think it might cost, you get a tidy little attractive space, away from it all. Right now I don’t think the UK based Qube company delivers to the states, but there are similar options here. I just happen to really like the Qube’s clean lines and stellar, simple design.

How cozy!

In the Qube’s case, electricity, water, and gas are all available. In fact you can even have it installed so that when you move, you can take it with you. Although, it should raise your property value enough to leave it there and build a new one at your new place.

Let’s see; I’d take my desk, files, coffee pot, and record player out and be all set. What would you do with the Qube?

PS I’ll be back with actual realistic organizational tips asap. Although, I don’t think this is too off the charts weird. I think a separate space for certain types of rooms works well, helps you streamline, and stay more clear headed to get more work or play time in.

If you live in the UK visit Qube. For US residents the choices are limited. I guess the UK has the market lead on garden offices but I suppose, you could always look into Tumbleweed homes (not a big home) and put that in your garden. It would look smashing.

The Brave Space – Lounge Chair inspired by lo-res graphics and architectural design renderings is so cool it hurts. The ottoman has a hollow space for storage and the chair has that nice little slice of storage right under the seat (I finally found it).

The Brave Space – Lounge Chair inspired by lo-res graphics and architectural design renderings is so cool it hurts. A nice touch is the recessed seat into the wood; not so dull as typical puffed out seating.

The cost, not for the faint of heart is sort of justified being that not only is this a simple wonderful piece, but it’s nice and sustainable with FSC certified Maple, Walnut veneer, 100% sustainable wool upholstery, and a water-based finish. Available at the always fresh 2modern.

If I won the lottery I’d buy this chair. Well, if I played the lottery and then won. I’m not much for numbers I can’t control.
