Male Quilters Awarded Prizes at Tri-Rivers Fair

It’s great to see the young men getting involved in quilting, too.  In an article on the KWCH –  Kansas News and Weather site, 2 Teen Males Claim Best of Show Ribbons in Quilting, we learn these teenagers at the Tri-Rivers Fair in Salina, KS.
Incidentally, when I was doing research for my book, The Magic of Patchwork, I came across information that said Dwight Eisenhower and his brother Milton had to sew quilt squares, so many each day, for their mother.

Noreen at Hankering for Yarn tagged me for the 7 Random Facts Meme, in which I list seven facts about myself.  I also was tagged at my Home Biz Notes blog and have listed seven there.
So even though I’ve listed seven facts at Home Biz Notes, I’ll see what information I can provide here that may be somewhat different, yet randomly related to quilting.
