Thanks to Mary Emma Allen of Quilting & Patchwork I’ve been taking a look at different ideas for covering journals. Sometimes you’ve picked up a notebook that you would just love if it wasn’t for the cover. One remedy is to cover it in something you do love, that way using the journal will feel good to you. I have blogged about this before, so just in case you haven’t seen some of the older links I’ve provided on the topic, make sure you also read Polymer Clay Journal Cover Tutorial & Covering Your Journal.

Lara Cameron has some great instructions on how to make a Reversible Journal Cover.
Some instructions for a Moroccan inspired cover.
Pocket Moleskine Journal Jacket Tutorial from Keyka Lou.
I’m sure you’ll find something useful here, though not all these links are for journal covers.
I had to include this cute idea using 7 Gypsies products.
A journal cover using Modge Podge.
Notebooks with Photos for covers at Photojo.
A Crazy Quilt journal cover.
And that’s just to get you going. I’m sure you’ll find something to inspire you into creating an unusual & unique journal cover you’ll want to use again & again.
